What is AWANA?
AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.” AWANA is known for leading kids worldwide to know, love, and serve Christ. For over 60 years, AWANA has offered a proven approach to sharing Jesus with children and their communities.

AWANA meets Wednesday nights from September 7 to April 26, in a two-semester format except for the following dates:
November 23 No Meeting (Thanksgiving Break)
December 14 No Meeting
December 21 No Meeting
December 28 No Meeting
January 4 No Meeting
January 11 No Meeting
March 15 No Meeting (Spring Break)
What are the age groups of each club?
- Puggles 2.5 years+ (Born 9/2/19 to 3/1/20) Parents must stay on campus, participating in an on-campus Small Group, Choir Rehearsal, or as an AWANA volunteer.
- Cubbies (Born 9/2/17 to 9/1/19 and Potty trained) Parents must stay on campus, participating in an on-campus Small Group, Choir Rehearsal, or as an AWANA volunteer.
- Sparks: Currently enrolled in kindergarten – 2nd Grade
- Truth and Training (T&T): Currently enrolled in 3rd – 5th Grade
May I volunteer?
Yes!!! Volunteers run AWANA, and many willing adults are needed. Volunteers help in class or lead small groups weekly. Volunteers must be members of Family Church for six months and pass a background screening. Parents of Puggles and Cubbies are required to stay on campus and are welcome to volunteer.
AWANA volunteers will receive complimentary childcare for their younger children born after 3/1/20.
